All women young and old need to be aware of and exercise their pelvic floor muscles throughout their life.
Your pelvic floor muscle is actually a series of strong, flexible muscles that act as a hammock for the bladder, womb and bowel.
With age, excess weight, pregnancy, the menopause, bad habits or even good habits including lots of high impact sports your Pelvic Floor may become stretched and weak.
This will mean that your internal organs are not supported and you will experience embarrassing issues with lack of control of your bladder or bowel.
You might find that you start waking up in the night or that you have to rush home when shopping or doing the school run. You may not be able to control wind or you might find that if you laugh or cough or do vigorous exercise that a tiny bit of moisture leaks out. You may find your sex life is less satisfying for both you and your partner or that you are unable to reach orgasm.
These are the early signs to warn you that you need to take action. Don't be embarrassed by these issues, take positive action and regain control of your life.

The
Athena Pelvic Floor Muscle Exerciser™ is easy and comfortable to use by inserting into the vagina, as you would a tampon, with the assistance of the
Athena Hydrogel lubricant.

It performs perfect pelvic exercises every time using a gentle electrical pulse that stimulates the muscle to contract with absolutely no effort from you.
It is the most advanced pelvic floor exerciser available to women. Unlike other devices, the Athena has no bulky wires, so you don't have to stay "plugged in". Using the cordless Athena for just 15 minutes twice a day will maintain or give you back control.
Each 15 minute session gives you 180 contractions and you can just lie back and relax, watch your favourite soap opera or even read a magazine.
You should notice a difference with your pelvic control in a matter of weeks.
The Athena Pelvic Floor Muscle Exerciser™ is best suited for women who suffer from symptoms of pelvic floor muscle weakness, such as stress and urge incontinence, the early stages of pelvic prolapse, weak muscles after childbirth and decreased sexual satisifaction.
