The Omnilux new-U™ is a medical device intended to be used for the reduction of periorbital wrinkles. Periorbital wrinkles are wrinkles around the eye, often referred to as ‘crow's feet’.
Crow's feet tend to appear as the skin ages or becomes sun damaged.
Sun damaged skin tends to be darker, more coarse, mottled or freckled and possess an uneven and dull complexion.
The Omnilux new-U™ system comprises of a treatment unit and a separate wall power supply with cord.
The treatment unit contains an array of Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs), a ventilation fan, a three-position switch, and a connection socket.
Each array is a matrix of LEDs designed to emit light of a specific brightness (intensity) and colour (wavelength). The switch on the front of the Omnilux new-U™ allows you to choose between the RED light output, the INFRARED light output or the OFF position.
The Omnilux new-U™ has been tested to International standards to ensure that its outputs are safe for the eyes. However, it is supplied with a set of patient goggles that it is recommended that you wear for your own comfort.
