Buying products from ConsultingRoomShop.com couldn't be easier and simpler to do; here are some tips to help you with your shopping basket and checkout.
To purchase an item, just click on the Buy button located next to the product information. A shopping basket menu will then appear on the right hand side of your screen that will update as you add or delete items to your order. When you are ready to go to the check out and pay for the items in your order, simply click the Checkout link in the shopping basket menu.
Buying items in your basket if you're a registered ConsultingRoomShop.com customer
When you are ready to make your purchase(s) (by clicking on the Checkout button), you will be asked to log in with your user name and password. You'll automatically be forwarded to the Address and Shipping Details page. Your billing and delivery addresses will be automatically filled in for you to approve or edit, (for example, if you wish to send the items to an alternative address as a gift for someone). Your order will not be processed, however, until you click on the Continue button to Review Your Order before proceeding to the Pay section, where you also have the option to use any loyalty points which you have accumulated. After you've placed your order and we have processed the payment, we will send you an e-mail confirmation.
Note: You can change your stored delivery address and/or billing information at any time by clicking on the Your Account link located at the top of every page.
Buying items in your basket if you're an unregistered shopper
When you are ready to make a purchase (by clicking on the Checkout button), you will see a Welcome to the Checkout page with a member login section. You can register at this time, using the 'I am a new customer' tick box, (it's FREE) and take advantage of all the benefits of being a registered user like order tracking, order status etc. You'll then be prompted to fill in your billing (invoice) and delivery addresses. (You will be able to modify this information and change your order before it is finally processed at the Review Your Order page.) Your order will not be processed, however, until you click on the Continue button to Review Your Order before proceeding to the Pay section. After you've placed your order, we will send you an e-mail confirmation.
Saving items in your basket
Items are saved in your shopping basket for the length of your user session only. This means that you can leave our shop open on your computer for up to 24 hours and then come back to complete your order, but once you've closed your browser window for any reason, your user session will have ended and any items in your shopping basket are automatically deleted.
Changing item quantities
To buy multiple quantities of an item, you can either click on the drop down menu next to the Buy button on the product information page, choose the quantity you require and then click Buy or you can click on the View Basket icon and change the item quantity by opening the quantity drop down menu next to a product in your shopping basket and choosing the quantity that you require and then clicking the Update button.
Removing items from your basket
To remove an item from your shopping basket, use the View Basket icon and click the Delete button next to the relevant product in your shopping basket.
