Rough or Uneven Skin Texture |

Over time, normal skin ageing (intrinsic ageing) and skin damage from our environment (extrinsic ageing), such as sun, smoking and pollution cause the skin to lose its ability to 'renew' itself properly.
Cell turnover slows down, causing the dead skin layer at the stratum corneum, on the skin's surface, to be thicker which slows the flow of moisture from within the skin, resulting in a dry, rough, uneven skin texture.
